Yesuha is a Gyr-Saker Falcon

  • Largest of the falcons.
  • Found in the artic regions of North America, Europe, Asia, Greenland and Iceland.
  • Nests on clif ledges or abandoned nests of other birds. 
  • Spends time in the winter on sea ice.
  • Natural predator is the Golden Eagle.
  • Eats grouse, gulls, crows, waders, geese, voles, lemmings and other small animals.
  • Captive bred by Steve Jensen in Riverton, Utah.
